Membership in the San Diego Poodle Club
Membership in the San Diego Poodle Club, Inc. is an honor! We do not accept just anyone. We are known for having declined membership applications of several local poodle breeders because they do not meet our standards. You may be assured that if the breeder you are purchasing a poodle from is a member of the San Diego Poodle Club that he or she is a reputable breeder. A Code of Ethics which is similar but stricter than that of the Poodle Club of America, must be accepted, signed and abided by. A copy of this Code of Ethics can be seen here. Membership is open to persons: * eighteen years of age or older * in good standing with the American Kennel Club * who agree to abide by the rules of the American Kennel Club * who subscribe to the purposes of this Club and agree to abide by the Constitution and By-Laws of the club * who accept, sign and abide by the Code of Ethics of this club * have two sponsors not related to each other or the applicant and who know the applicant personally * who have attended two meetings in the previous twelve months * who pay the application fee and yearly dues You are welcome to visit one of our meetings! We meet every month except April and November on the 4th Wednesday at 7pm. Location varies. To find out more about our meetings or membership in the San Diego Poodle Club, contact Patty Stabler at 951-928-0429 or stablerone@aol.com. Members
